Roberta I. Wysocky

Roberta "Bobbie" (Dyer) Wysocky (nee Brown) passed away on Jan. 18, 2026 at Fairmont Assisted Living in Westlake. She was born in Elyria on December 22, 1937 where she resided all her life. Roberta graduated from Elyria High School in 1955. She was retired from The Travelmart and had also worked for The Elyria Credit Bureau, Montgomery Ward and Spiegel's.

She enjoyed bowling, fishing and was always seen working in her yard. She was a member of The United Polish Club, a life Member of the Amvets and was a member of The LaPorte United Methodist Church.

Roberta is survived by her daughters Kimberly (Perry) Burns and Brenda Hodge. Also surviving are her grandson, Zachary (Jordan) Burns and great grandson, August Burns. She also leaves her first husband Merlin (Joe) Dyer; although divorced, they remained good friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Wysocky in 2003, sister's Phylis Jean Allen and Dorothy Broome, her half-brother Clarence Stanley Lawson, and her parents Harold and Mary Brown.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1 p.m. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Belden Cemetery in Grafton Township.
