Robert G. Yunker Sr. 81, of LaGrange passed away Sunday February 2, 2020 at The Elms Retirement Village in Wellington following a long illness while under the loving care of Sprenger Hospice and the nursing facility staff. He was born February 13, 1938 in Kanawha Head, WV. Robert was a 1956 Spencer High School graduate. He had worked in the Tool and Die business most of his life, and co owned a business in Lagrange with Mark Duplaga. Robert enjoyed building race cars, camping, boating, and playing golf, but most of all spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years; Margaret E. (nee: Dennison) a son; Robert Yunker Jr. of Elyria and a daughter; Cindy Plas (Jeff) of LaGrange, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Lydia (nee: Turnbull) Yunker. A memorial for friends and family will be held at a later date.
