Robert "Bob" Vernadakis, passed away suddenly on March 29, 2025. He was born August 7, 1943 in Durham, North Carolina.

Bob graduated from Commerce High School in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1961 and went on to serve in the United States Navy.

In 1976 he moved to Ohio, living in Mansfield and Lodi before settling in Eaton Township in 2001.

Retiring as a sales account manager for McKesson Drug Wholesaler after more than 30 years, Bob embraced his new found leisure time. Much time was spent on the golf course, bowling on the senior league at AMF Lanes and he was known as "the golf ball guy" at Jamie's and at Litchfield Flea Markets.

Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lucille (nee-Tildes); daughter, Kimberly Gaudreau; grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Tyler, Evan, Raya and Yirmeyah; sister, Sandra Martin; step-son, Scott White; and step-daughter, Angela (Ed) Carter. He was preceded in death by his son Jason and parents Charles and Viola Vernadakis.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at North Eaton Christian Church, 35895 Royalton Road, Grafton. Rev. David Chafin, Pastor, will Officiate.

Private inurnment will take place at a later date at Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
