Robert Harvey Teeple 78, of LaGrange Twp. passed away Sunday November 19, 2017 at The Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin following a long illness. Bob proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He treasured spending time with his family and friends; and enjoyed being outdoors hunting, motorcycling, bird watching and tinkering. He was a life member of The NRA. Survivors include his wife of thirty nine years; Marilyn E. (nee: Smith), two daughters; Dawn L. Jones (David) of Medina Twp., Michelle A. Marquard of Columbia Twp. Additional survivors include four grandchildren; Kyle D. Tomak, Ryan J. Marquard, Aaron T. Tomak, Alyssa M. Tomak, nieces and nephews; Debbie, Chris, Kathy, Dianna, Barbie, Danny. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; Kenneth and Mildred (nee: Kirsch) Teeple, and two sisters; Patricia and Carol. The family will receive friends from 1-4 PM Friday November 24, 2017 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday November 25, 2017. Burial will be at Columbia Township Cemetery where V.F.W.
