Robert J. Sidley, 53, of LaGrange passed away Sunday May 8, 2011 at his home following a long illness. He was born July 1, 1957 in Elyria and was a lifelong LaGrange resident. Bob was formerly a self-employed general contractor, was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elyria, was a 1975 Keystone High School graduate and was a avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his daughter, Meagan Sidley of Oberlin; sons, Matt and Dustin both of Elyria and Josh of Amherst; grandchild, Jaiden Sidley; sisters, Susan Figula of Elyria and Bonnie Rector of Wapakoneta, OH.. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Theresa "Sue" Sidley. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. 322-4626. The Rev.
