Robert James Maier Sr. , 80, of Kelleys Island passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. He was born December 28, 1941 in Utica, NY Robert was a self-employed computer technician. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Kathryn (nee Nieszczur); daughter, Barb (Michael) Streeter; sons, Robert James Maier Jr. "Bob" (Kelly), Eric Ryan Maier; 6 grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 1 PM until time of service at 3 PM, followed by full military honors by VFW post # 1079 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Burial will be at a later date on Kelleys Island.
