Robert J. Lark 88, of LaGrange passed away Monday February 5, 2024 at O'Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville following a long illness. He was born July 11, 1935 in Cleveland. Robert had worked for Republic Steel as a shipper and retired following thirty five years of service. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. Robert treasured spending time with family and friends; he enjoyed fishing and playing cards.  Survivors include his wife of sixty seven years; Joyce (nee: Dodson), a daughter; Jeanne Herald (Michael) of Lexington, KY., three sons; Robert Jr. (Cathy) of New Lenox, IL., Michael (Marie) of North Royalton, Matthew (Jennifer) of Norwalk, OH.  Additional survivors include ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and a sister; Patricia Kaye of Rocky River.  Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Albert Sr. and Mary (nee: Snyder) Lark, and a brother; Albert Lark Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday February 12, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton, OH 44044 where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM. The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton.
