Robert A. Krajeski, 79, of Elyria passed away Tuesday November 26, 2024 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a long battle with cancer.

He was born November 24, 1945 in Lorain and was a lifelong Elyria resident.

Bob was employed as a machinist at Moen for 40 years, retiring in 2008. He was a United States Marine Corp. veteran, a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, a life member of the Elyria United Polish Club and a member of the Grafton V.F.W. Post 3341. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Gloria (nee-Andrzejczyk); daughters, Lisa (Jay) Harwood and Katie (Rob) Drawl; son, John (Toni Anne) Krajeski and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Catherine Krajeski and sisters, Mary Jean Grimes and Cathy Stanziano.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., at State Rt. 57, Elyria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday December 5, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St. Grafton. The Rev. John P. Seabold will be the Celebrant. Inurnment will be Saturday December 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton, where members of V.F.W. Post 1079 will conduct full military honors.
