Robert Charles Kendle Sr., 66, of Grafton passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 20, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1952 in Elyria and was a 1970 graduate of Midview High School. Robert was a building inspector for the City of Avon for over 20 years. He enjoyed music, going to concerts, antique cars, and was always willing to teach friends and family to do things the right way, but his greatest love was for his family. Survivors include his wife of 45 years Carol (nee Machovina); daughter Heather Kendle (Ronald Cox Jr.) of Carlisle Twp.; son Robert Jr. (Deborah) of Grafton; grandchildren Brett Kendle, Robert E. Kendle, Charles Kendle, Kayla Lee, Nicolas Stallard, Dylan Kendle, Owen Arms , Ronald Cox III, Robert Cox, Mary Cox; great grandchildren Kayson and Dayton Emery; sister Annette Kendle (Wes) of Medina; brother Greg (Pat) Kendle of Smithville. He was preceded in death by his parents William R. Sr.and Dolores Kendle (nee Kazmierczak); brothers William Jr., John.
