Robert Gary Kane, 66, of Elyria passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at his home. He was born September 20 , 1953 in Cleveland and grew up in Columbia Station. Robert was a member of Midway Baptist Church and the Silver Saints at Midway Baptist. He enjoyed gospel music, playing bass guitar, studying the Bible and his family. Robert was a retired woodworker and musician. Survivors include his wife of 39 years Barbara (nee Ross); daughters Melissa and Robin Kane both of Elyria; son Jacob Kane of Elyria; grandchildren Epic and Onyx Kane; sisters Carolyn and Candra Kane; brother-in-laws George Ross Jr. (Sue), James Ross (Kim). He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Maria Kane (nee Moro). Family will receive friends from 5 PM until time of service at 7 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Midway Baptist Church 41812 Griswold Rd. Elyria, OH. 44035. Pastor Rick Keesee will officiate.
