Robert John James, age 64, of Huntington Township, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, following a long illness. He was born on July 14, 1961, in Avon Lake.

Bob had a boisterous voice and a big heart. He loved people deeply and lived by strong family values. A loving and caring father, Bob took great pride in his family and found his greatest joy in his two children.

A third-generation painter, Bob was proud to carry on the family tradition and was known by many as "the best in the business." He was a strong, hardworking man who never shied away from a challenge. Bob was happiest in his garage, surrounded by his jacked-up trucks and fast cars, out in the woods hunting, off-roading, shooting, and building big bonfires for loved ones to enjoy.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Julia L. James of Grafton; his sisters, Lisa James of Medina and Sandra James of Lakewood; and his brother, Thomas James of Grafton. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, David James, and his parents, David and Carol (née Kordish) James.
