Robert H. Grills Jr. 65, of Elyria passed away Sunday February 22, 2015 at UH Elyria Medical Center following a long illness. He was born October 20, 1949 in Elyria. Robert served in the U.S. Navy, and retired from The City of Elyria as a fireman. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his grandchildren. Robert Enjoyed golf, fishing, playing baseball, and watching the Cleveland Indians. Survivors include his wife of sixteen years; Kathy J. (nee: McClintock) a daughter; Bridgette M. Hawke (Troy) of Elyria, a son; Robert A. "Rob" Grills of Las Vegas, NV. Additional survivors include two grandchildren; Ella and Davis Hawke, two sisters; Georgia Sandor (Hank Juske) of Medina, Vicki Leonard (Randy) of Elyria, two brothers; Mark and Gary Grills both of North Eaton. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; Robert H. Sr. and Norma (nee: Heath) Grills,and a brother Larry Grills.
