Robert Lee Fitzpatrick, 80, passed away surrounded by his family, on November 21, 2024, from Alzheimer's disease.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA. in 1944, he was called to a life of ministry in the Lutheran Church. He served as a pastor and ministered in churches and organizations, touching countless lives through baptisms, confirmations, marriages, funerals, and other life events.

His smile and love live on through his wife of 52 years Jan, children, Tim and Tina, their spouses Erin and Dave, and his grandchildren Reilly, Ryan, Kiera, and Caleb.

A Memorial Service celebrating Pastor Fitzpatrick's life and ministry will be held on Saturday November 30, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church 28081 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Visitation with the family will also be held at Ascension Lutheran Church on Friday November 29, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and November 30 at 9:30 a.m..

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to be made to Ascension Lutheran Church 28081 Lorain Road North Olmsted and/or Redeemer Crisis Center, 2970 West 30th Street Cleveland, OH. in honor of Pastor Fitzpatrick to support their ministry.
