Robert G. Eyring, 85, of Wellington, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2022 at Ames Hospice in Westlake. Robert was born on June 26, 1937 in Lakewood, Ohio to parents, Joseph and Alice (nee: Gedeon) Eyring. He was drafted into the US Army in 1961, and later married his sweetheart, Martha Anne Palumbo, the following year. Robert was employed by Dairymen's for many years as a mechanic. He had a tremendous love for his grandchildren and restoring old tractors. Survivors include his wife; daughter, Judith (Glen) Heitkamp; sons, John (Lisa), Matthew (Kati); brothers, Joseph Richard, Donald, and Tom; daughter-in-law, Margaret; grandchildren, Alyssa, Joshua, Kristin, Lindsey, and Jacob. Robert is preceded in death by sons; Edward and Paul; and brother, William. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM June 25, 2023 at Penfield Twp. Hall, 41012 State Route 18, Wellington, OH 44090.
