Robert E. Erkens, 85, of Grafton passed away Sunday June 8, 2025 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain.

He was born January 8, 1940 in Lorain and was a lifelong area resident.

Bob was employed at the Ford Motor Company in Lorain for 38 years, retiring in 1997 and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton.

Survivors include his wife, Jean (nee-Taft) and daughter, Carrie Erkens.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Kim Fortney and Patricia Erkens.

All services were private and private burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
