Robert Douglas "Doug" Risher, 70, of Elyria passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home unexpectedly with his family by his side. He was born August 12, 1951 in New London, CT. Doug was a self-employed floor installer who taught many people the trade. He loved the Browns, golfing, collector of various items, love of family especially the grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 27 years Kathy (nee Haas); daughter, Michelle (Scott) Mohr; sons, Robert Risher II, Christopher Haas (Erika Engel) and Jeffery (Cindy) Salyer; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Dana (John) Blanchard; brother, Delvin (Sharon) Risher. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Rosemary Risher; sister, Debbie Klement.
