Robert E. Brown 79, of Grafton passed away Friday January 29, 2016 at Lorain Specialty Hospital in Amherst following a long illness. He was born June 25, 1936 in Chillicothe, OH. Bob was the Owner and Operator of National Molded Products Inc. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bob was an avid boater, and sponsored a race car with Brown Motorsports. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family, and playing the piano. Survivors include his wife of forty six years; Charlene L. (nee: Meyers), two daughters; Debby Kurtz (Jim) of Sandusky, OH, Michele Elking (Wade) of Leesburg, OH, two sons; Terry Brown of Elyria, Bryan Brown (Kimberly) of Elyria. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren; Chris (Maren), Ashley (Chuck), Matt (Evann), Evan, Jenna, Hunter, Devin, Elizabeth, five great grandchildren; David, Jordynn, Jaxson, Savannah, Jeremiah, and a brother; Carl Brown (Ruth) of Columbus, OH. Bob was preceded in death by an infant daughter; Susan Lynn, his parents; Carl and Goldie (nee: Wolf) Brown. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday February 2, 2016 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
