Robert A. Booth, age 75, of Elyria, passed away on February 24, 2023 at Ames Hospice in Westlake. He was born on July 6, 1947 in Lorain, Ohio. Robert earned an Associate's degree in electronics from LCCC and worked as a software engineer for Van Dorn Demag Corp. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus with the Avon / Avon Lake Chapter and enjoyed camping with the O-H-LO Group. Survivors include his daughter, Becky Booth. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joan (nee: Vincent) and parents; Robert and Mary (nee: Birich).  Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626 where closing prayers will be recited at 9:30 AM on Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at St. Jude Catholic Church 590 Poplar St. Elyria, OH 44035 with Rev. Fr. Joseph Scalco, CSJ pastor will be the Celebrant.
