Robert James Arbuckle, 92, of Elyria passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 28, 1928 in Turtle Creek, PA. Robert worked for American Standard. He enjoyed woodworking, yardwork, and especially being with family. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Ruth (nee Hadammeg); daughter, Linda (Tibor) Simon of Westlake; son Michael of Carlisle Twp.. He was preceded in death by his son, David J.; parents, James and Katherine Arbuckle (nee Pycraft); sister, May Coleman; brother Andrew Arbuckle. Family will receive friends from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 PM Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
