Richard E. Wiser Jr., 73, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1944 in Pennsylvania. He was a member of the Polish Club of Elyria. Richard proudly served his Country in the Navy. Richard worked for General Motors, retiring in 2006. After retirement, he delivered flowers for Puffer's Floral Shop in Elyria. Richard enjoyed going to casinos with his wife Lucy . Survivors include his wife Lucy (nee Eddy); daughters Dawn Wiser of Mundelein, Il., Susan Schneider of Elyria of whom he was extremely proud; grandchildren Bradley and Sarah Schneider who he couldn't say enough about; sisters Gloria (A.J.) Deitz, Polly (Larry) Keefer both of Pennsylvania.; brother Ron (Shari) Wiser of Pennsylvania; brothers-in- law Frank (Judy) Eddy and Bill (Michele) Eddy; sisters-in-law Nancy (David) Livelsberger and Shirley (George) Watson. Family will receive friends 1PM until time of service at 4 PM Sunday June 10, 2018 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
