Richard E. Tate, age 100, passed away at Life Care in Elyria on May 12, 2022. He was born in Connersville, Indiana on December 24, 1921 to Emery and Philamena (Vogelsang) Tate. Richard served in the Navy during World War II and later received a Masters Degree in Engineering. He was the owner of NADS for over 45 years. Survivors include his daughter, Patricia and son Richard; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by wife, Ione; daughter, Diane Delaney; sister, Susan Dougan. Burial at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery will be private.
