Richard J. "Rick" Rodick, 47, of Wellington passed away Monday March 28, 2022 at his home. He was born March 20, 1975 in Fairview Park and was a lifelong Lorain County resident. Rick earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Tiffin University and was employed at the Lorain Correction Institution as a Service Administrator II. He was a member of the Wellington Eagles Club and enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing darts and especially spending time with his daughters. Survivors include his daughters Madison and Sydney Rodick; mother, Betty Hetsler; father, Kenneth Lloyd Rodick Jr.; sisters, Denise (Sean) Nagle and Marsha (Chris) Taylor; brother, Kenneth A. (Kelly) Rodick and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday (today) from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday April 2, 2022 in the funeral home. Pastor Danny Wright of the LaGrange Church of God will Officiate. Burial will be at River Road Cemetery, LaGrange.
