Richard T. "Rick" Spinks. 74, of LaGrange passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake. He was born February 23, 1945 in Elyria. Rick was a math teacher at Keystone High School for over 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, all Cleveland Sports , Ohio State Football, and spending time with his family especially the grandchildren who always referred to Rick as "PAPA". Survivors include his daughter Kellie Spinks of Mebane, N.C.; son Scott Spinks of Philadelphia, PA.; grandchildren Ayden and Addyson Grieger; sisters Jolyn Moreno of St. Petersburg, FL., Barbara Diederick of Elyria, Pamela Chapman of Sparta, N.C.; brothers David of Elyria and Dennis of High Point, N.C. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda; parents Richard and Lottie Spinks (nee Smith). All funeral services and burial were held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests those who wish may make donations in Richard's name to the American Red Cross 3747 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH. 44115.
