Richard S. Penndorf 62, of Elyria passed away Wednesday May 11, 2016 at home following a long illness. He was born April 27, 1954 in Scarsdale, NY. Rick had previously worked for Airborne Express, and retired from R.E. Michaels Heating and Air Conditioning. He enjoyed cooking, following the stock market, and loved spending time with people. Survivors include his wife; Kathy L. (nee: Sinkinson), two daughters; Erica Penndorf of Parma, Amanda Harrison of Grafton, a son; Jeff George of Elyria, a granddaughter; Chloe, and a brother; Roger Penndorf (Donna) of Augusta, ME. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Janet (nee: Morrison) Penndorf, and a sister; Kathy Morock of Yonkers, NY. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday May 17, 2016 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
