Obituary

Richard N. Paul, Sr., 79, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange. He was born on March 31, 1945 in Weirton, West Virginia to parents George and Doris (nee: Nicholas) Paul. Richard graduated from Lakewood High School and worked as a supervisor for the City of Rocky River for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and cooking in his spare time. Those who knew him will remember him for his sense of humor and dedication to his family. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia (nee: Duraney); daughters, Cindy Paul (Urban Morris), Jo Anne (Joseph) Ferritto; grandchildren, Tony, Lauren, James, Nicholas, Nicole, Joseph, Sophia; great-grandchildren, Tegan, Molly, and Mayes. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Richard Paul, Jr.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 10 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie Street Grafton, Ohio 44044. The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. A private family burial will be held at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton. Memorial contributions in Richard's name can be sent to the church.  Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.laubenthalmercado.com. Arrangements entrusted to Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home in Elyria.
