Richard M. "Mark" Sabo 49, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 3, 2014 at UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born April 12, 1965 in Elyria where he was a lifelong resident. He attended Elyria High School and Elyria Catholic High School. Mark had worked for The Beckett Corp., Pioneer Products, Elyria Foundry, and was Assistant Club Manager at Burgandy's in Cincinnati, OH. Mark was a member of The Elyria United Polish Club. He was an avid fan of The Cleveland Indians, The Cleveland Browns, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and Elyria Catholic High School sports. Mark enjoyed all sports, fishing, reading and the friendship of his loyal friends; Marty, Fritty, Ted, Joey, and GiGi. He was a friend to all and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his mother; Verna Sabo (nee: Dobrowski) of Elyria, three sisters; Carol A. Sabo of Cleveland, Debbie L. Neri (Michael) of Elyria, Terese M. Sabo of North Ridgeville, and a brother; Robert A. Sabo of California. Mark was preceded in death by his father; Richard, and a brother; Joseph, his grandparents; Alex and Helen Sabo (Szabo) and John and Josephine Dobrowski (Kruszewski). The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday November 7, 2014 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.(at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Friday immediately following visitation. Deacon Patrick Humphrey will officiate. Burial will be private.
