It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Richard N. Paul Jr., 58, of North Ridgeville, Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly on October 23rd surrounded by his loving family. Rick was born in 1964 in Lakewood, Ohio and spent most of his life in Grafton, Ohio. After graduating from Elyria Catholic High School in 1982, he joined the United States Air Force as a Missile Maintenance Technician for the 91st Missile Wing in Minot, North Dakota. Upon his return to Grafton, Ohio he began a 31-year career with The City of Rocky River from which he retired in 2012. Rick's greatest accomplishment was raising his two children. He was always there for them through life's ups and downs and taught them everything that he knew. He was a proud grandpa to his granddaughter whom he visited frequently in Texas. He enjoyed competitive shooting, cooking, baseball, and teaching his children his handy man skills. He is survived by his mother Patricia Paul, his father Richard Paul Sr., his  daughter Lauren Parsons, his son Nicholas Paul, sister Cindy Paul, sister JoAnne Ferritto, and granddaughter Tegan Parsons. Visitation will be held at 10am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie Street Grafton, OH 44044. A Memorial Mass will immediately follow at 11am with Rev.
