Richard L. "Dick" Porter 65, of Elyria passed away Wednesday July 11, 2012 at home following a long illness. He was born July 11, 1947 in New Cumberland, WV. Dick had served with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the V.F.W., AMVETS, and The American Legion. Dick had lived in Sandusky prior to his return to Elyria. He loved his therapy cats. Dick is survived by his son; Jeromy Clyde Porter of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his parents; Clyde M. and Cynthia B. (nee: Powers) Porter.
