Richard Frank Benetto, 81, of Elyria passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain. He was born October 5, 1939 in Farrell, PA. Richard worked as a flight service specialist for the FAA. He was a member of the Slovenian Home. Richard enjoyed remote control planes , cars, drones, was a lover of music by playing the accordion to polkas, he had his own radio show on WOBL playing his beloved polka music. Survivors include his daughter, Karen Bilman of Elyria; sons, Timothy ( Kimberly) of Elyria, Gary of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Holly, Brooke and Michael Benetto; sister, Marilyn ( Timothy) Leyshock of Scottsdale, AZ.; brother, Robert (Linda) of Sharon, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Mary J. "Jackie" Benetto. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date. Burial private.
