Reynaldo G. Santo Domingo Sr. 77, of Elyria passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at University Hospitals St. John Medical Center. He was born March 29,1941 in the Philippines. Reynaldo worked as an upholsterer at Invacare in Elyria. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking, fishing, sports, watching television and telling stories. His sense of humor will truly be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of fifty seven years; Dolores M. (nee: Javeier), two daughters; Gladys J. Atencio (Dindo) of Miramar, FL., Doreen J. Santo Domingo of Elyria, four sons; Reynaldo J. Jr. (Lucia) of Parma, Ronaldo J. of Lorain, Gil J. (Imelda) of Elyria, Alex J. (Janice) of Lorain. Additional survivors include eighteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters; Elsa Jose (Francisco Jr.) of Elyria, Fe Pereyra (Rodrigo) of Elyria, six brothers; Andres (Consuelo) of Elyria, Angel (Thelma) of Elyria, Mario (Marybeth) of MN., Jaime (Elizabeth) of Elyria, . Jesus (Linda) of Lorain, Bernbe Jr. (Kary) of Elyria. Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents; Bernabe and Elena (nee: DeGuzman) Santo Domingo, and a brother; Alejandro G. (Lourdesita). The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday March 13, 2019 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
