Reta M. Eckhart, (nee-Drake), 72, of Elyria passed away Wednesday September 5, 2018 at the Life Care Center of Elyria. She was born February 14, 1946 in Webster Springs, WV. And was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Reta worked for H &R Block as a tax preparer and enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, reading, classic movies and making stained glass objects. Survivors include her sons, Tracy (Jen) Cairns and Craig (Amy) Eckhart; grandchildren, Shawn, Madeline, Jason, Ryan, Spencer and Preston; great-grandson, William; mother, Francis Drake; sister, Susie Drake. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Quinn Cairns, father, Fritz Drake, sister, Sheila Drake and brother, Robert Drake. All services will be private.
