Renee M. Takacs, 64, of Elyria passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice following a brief illness. She was born September 20, 1953 in Elyria. Renee was a member of the Erie Shores Humane Society and she enjoyed gardening. Renee worked as an RN for Premium Surgery Center. Survivors include her son Daniel (Sky) Pritchett of Elyria; sister Jennifer (Ron) Mikulan of Amherst; brothers Mark (Barb) Takacs of Sheffield Lake, Joseph (Michelle) Kelling of Sheffield Lake, John (Jennifer) Kelling of Elyria; step father Herm Kelling; dogs Boo and Aurora. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Jane Takacs - Kelling (Nee Baker). Family will receive friends 4 PM until time of Celebration of Life at 5 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Laubental-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
