IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Regina Diane
(Poskocil) Sinegar
September 7, 1962 – April 27, 2025
Regina Diane Sinegar passed away April 27th, 2025, at the age of 62. She was born September 7th, 1962, in Elyria, OH. Regina graduated from Elyria High School, then went on to earn an associate's degree and worked as a cost accountant for several years. After taking a step back from the profession, she continued with her intentions to curate a creative, vibrant, and nontraditional life for her children. Those who knew Regina know she was unconventional and could never resist the urge to make people laugh with her. Regina never strayed from her true spirit and was always unapologetically herself. She had a deep sense of pride for her family and couldn't wait to share their accomplishments with others. Regina was always content sitting next to a campfire listening to music, constantly saying "remember when…", and could tell you the name of any flower. She is survived by her spouse of 38 years, Mark; daughters Sara Reisz (Joe) and Samantha; grandchildren Remy and Raya Reisz; siblings James (Linda), Robert (Berta), Allan (Carol), Gary (Dusty), Keith (Jane), Judy (Mark) Pine, Marion Sutphin, Amy Wells (Mike), and many wonderful nieces and nephews that meant the world to her. Regina was preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen, sister, Kathleen Tansey, as well as her cherished son Shaun. The family will hold a private service on Saturday, May 3, 2025. Following the service, there will be a luncheon from 2-6pm to celebrate Regina's life held at the Elyria Moose Lodge (555 TernesLn, Elyria, OH 44035) in which all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate that you come to eat, drink, and laugh in honor of Regina. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elyria. Online condolences may be expressed at www.laubenthalmercado.com
