Raymond Albert Kozlowski 78, of Elyria passed away Thursday September 27, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a long illness. He was born November 15, 1939 in Lorain, and was a lifelong area resident. Raymond was a 1958 Lorain High School graduate. He retired from Vectron Industries in Elyria following many years of service doing maintenance. Raymond was a member of St. Mary Church in Elyria, he was a lifetime member of Elyria United Polish Club. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering around his home. Survivors include two daughters; Mary Beth Kocianic (John) of Lexington Park, MD., Susan M. Kozlowski of Elyria. Additional survivors include a granddaughter; Elizabeth Radachi (Patrick) of Elyria, and a great grandson; Alexander Radachi. Raymond was preceded in death by his wife of forty two years; Judith A. (nee: Garn), his parents; Peter J. Sr.. and Mary R. (nee: Skrupa) Kozlowski, two brothers; Peter J. Jr. and Myron Kozlowski. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday October 4, 2018 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH 44035. Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick, Pastor will be the Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday prior to Mass in The Weigand Room at St. Mary Church. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Burial will be private at St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria.
