Raymond P. DiGeronimo, 70, "Rerun", of Elyria passed away Friday October 4, 2024 at New Life Hospice Center in Lorain following a 10 year battle with cancer.

He was born November 6, 1953 in Cleveland to Vincent and Florence (nee-Frabotta) DiGeronimo.

Ray loved muscle cars and had a 1968 Chevelle and a 1972 Monte Carlo. He loved cooking and feeding his family and friends.

A 1972 Elyria Catholic High School graduate, he worked at Stanadyne, Northwest Vending and Prout Chevrolet until he found his love of truck driving. He drove for C&S Limestone and Gregory Trucking Inc., from which he retired.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and special cousin, Donald P. Frabotta.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Jorja (nee-Terry);loving nieces and caretakers, Deb Tomasheski (nee-Frabotta) and Mary Romano (nee-Frabotta); brother-in-law, Timothy Terry (Debra).

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday October 11, 2024 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services and burial will be private.
