Raymond E. Baumiller 76, of Elyria passed away Sunday April 5, 2026 at University Hospitals Main Campus from a sudden Trauma.

He was born August 30, 1949, and was a 1967 Stubenville High School graduate. He was a United States Air Force veteran and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, bowling and playing cards.

Survivors include his daughter Megan E. Havrilek (Robert) of Elyria; son, Christopher S. (Sharlene) Baumiller of Medina; 5 grandchildren, Matthew, Dominique (Jeff Havrilek), Alexus (Jon Perkins), Savannah, and Riley; great-grandson, Greyson; brothers, Dennis, Keith and Mark.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Annetta Baumiller (nee-Haught), father, Clifford Baumiller and mother, Grace Baumiller.

The family will receive friends Tuesday April 21, 2026 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chest Ridge Rd., Elyria.

Burial will be at a later date at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
