Randall S. "Randy" Bruce, 61, of Elyria passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 26, 1959 in Elyria. Randy enjoyed golfing, camping, all Cleveland sports, the beach, and get-togethers with family and friends. He was an excellent athlete in his youth and helped the Elyria Big League All-Star team to it's first state championship. He was also a finalist for the Lorain County Vince Lombardi award his senior season for the Elyria High School football Pioneers. His kindness always showed through his love of animals. Randy retired from Ross Incineration in 2019, after over 30 years. Survivors include his wife of 18 years Mary Mizen-Bruce (nee McKenna); daughter, Katie (Jimmy Mannion) Mizen; sisters, Susan Pendergrass, Becky Offenberg; brothers, Michael (Lisa) Bruce and Stephen (Koreen) Brattoli Jr.; sister-in-laws Kathy Inderrieden, Pauline McKenna; brother-in-law John (Carrie) McKenna; nieces and nephews, Angie (Mic) Fairbanks, Greg Pendergrass, Matt (Cindy) Pendergrass, Joe (Amy) Shough, Josh Offenberg, Madison Brattoli, Chloe Brattoli, Aidan Brattoli, James (Brittany) Inderrieden, Paul (Emma) Inderrieden, Tiana (Will) McKenna, Alex (Alyx) Mckenna and Jacob (Danielle) Nebozuk; and dear friend Kevin "Kip" Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Bruce and Sally Brattoli (nee Schoditsch); father Stephen Brattoli Sr.; sister, Nancy Bruce; and niece Jennifer Shough.
