Ralph W. Yost 101 of Elyria (formerly of North Ridgeville, and Carlisle Twp.) passed away Thursday October 20, 2011 at Life Care Center of Elyria following a brief illness. He was born February 27, 1910 in Olmsted Falls, OH. Ralph lived most of his life in North Ridgeville, and had lived at The Abbewood since 2001. He was a Postal Clerk and retired from the Elyria Post Office. Ralph was a member of First Baptist Church of Elyria, where he was very active in his younger years. Survivors include a son; Dale Yost (Mary Lou) of Elyria, two daughters; Fay Bowman of LaGrange, Joy Byers (Keith) of FL., and eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife; Olive (nee: Zalud) in 2001, five brothers; Charles, Abe, Floyd, Glenn, Harry, three sisters; Irene, Alice, and Middie, and his parents; Fred and Susie (Romp) Yost.
