Ralph Owen Hollingsworth of Englewood, Florida, peacefully passed away on June 20, 2024 at the age of 78. He was born at home in Stanaford, WV on May 5, 1945. Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph (Ed) Hollingsworth (wife, Kimberly nee-Ensminger). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Cameron, Nicholas, Madison, Kristina, and Aaron; great-grandchild, Jacob Mansfield; brothers, Densel, George and Jimmy. Ralph was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Wilma Hollingsworth (nee-Saler) and his son, Mark Hollingsworth. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Clayton, Donald, David, Mary, Serena and Norma. Ralph's life was marked by numerous passions and hobbies. He found joy in hunting, fishing, playing music, dancing and exploring garage sales. A devoted member of Christian Unity Church in Grafton, Ohio, Ralph retired from a fulfilling career at the Ford Motor Company. In addition to his personal pursuits, Ralph dedicated himself to helping others, running a food ministry and clothing donation program. His compassionate nature and unwavering loyalty endeared him to all who knew him, as he tirelessly supported others despite his own challenges. Throughout his life, Ralph brought laughter and joy to those around him with his quick wit and his talent to tell jokes. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends Monday 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 9, 2024 at Christian Unity Church 36353 Capel Rd., Grafton. Pastor Neal Brock will Officiate. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland.
