Ralph Fox, 75, of Elyria passed away Wednesday August 31, 2011 at Huntington Woods Healthcare Center in Westlake following a brief illness. He was born September 2, 1935 in Cleveland and was a lifelong Lorain County resident. Ralph was employed as a Loan Officer at Consolidated Home Mortgage Co. in Medina for many years. He also was the former owner of Foxwood Realty in Elyria. Ralph was a member of Christ Church in Columbia Station, a former member of the Elyria Elk's Lodge #465, a 1954 Oberlin High School graduate and enjoyed golfing. Survivors include his companion of 13 years, JoAnne Hagstrom; daughter, Becky Fox of Dublin, OH.; son, John (Jennifer) Fox of Oakland Twp., MI.; step-son, Leonard Szabo of Orlando, FL.; grandchildren, Nicole and Sydney Fox; grandog, Brooks; sisters, Audrey Weaver of Elyria and Alice Hemphill of Pittsfield; brother, William (Linda) Fox of Oberlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Mabel Fox and a brother, Edward Fox. There will be no visistation. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Church 23080 Royalton Rd., Columbia Station.
