Ralph E. Broadwater, 87, of Elyria passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky following a lengthy illness. He was born January 10, 1933 in Wadestown, W.VA. Ralph worked for B.F. Goodrich as a chemical operator for 30 years until his retirement in 1994. He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Ralph enjoyed traveling, jogging, and was an avid golfer at Brentwood Golf Course.Ralph treasured spending time with family. Survivors include his daughters Robin (Jim) Vanco of Strongsville, Marlyn (Carl) Bally of Avon; son Barry Broadwater of Elyria; 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn (nee Dunwiddie); parents Ralph Broadwater and Buelah McMullen ( nee Johnston); sisters Carolyn Conner, Louise Middlestetter, Virginia Blackhall.
