Pietro "Peter" D'Agositino, 80, of Elyria passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at Southwest General Hospital surrounded by his children. He was born September 23, 1941 in Locri, Italy. Peter was employed by Ford Motor Co. since 1960 until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, making sauce and sausage, traveling to Italy but especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Peter will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Immacolata (nee Sansotta); daughter, Kathie D'Agostino; son, Robert (Crystal) D'Agostino; grandchildren, Justin, Alexa, Gabriella, and Genevieve; sisters, Betty Vince, Immacolata Sansotta, Mary (Antonio) Policheni; brothers Leonard (Elia) D'Agostino, Dominico (Gerarda) D'Agostino. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Caterina D'Agostino (nee Monteleone); Sisters, Rosa Smith, Carmela Sansotta; Family will receive friends 4-7PM Friday, February 4, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Masks are required. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, February 5, 2022 at St, Mary Church 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH 44035 (Please Meet at Church).
