Obituary

Phillip J. Williamson, 77, of Columbia Station passed away Sunday May 2, 2021 at his home following a long illness. He was born September 18, 1943 in Cleveland and was a Columbia Station resident for most of his life. Phillip worked as a tool and die welder at General Motors for 34 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, and formerly served as a Captain on the Eaton Township Fire Department. Survivors include his wife Barbara (nee-Bussard); daughters, Michele (Lee) Hines, Monice (Scott) Cannell and Melissa Born; son, Michael Williamson; grandchildren, Leigha, Lexy, Olivia and Evan; sisters, Roseann, Elizabeth and Pauline. All Services and burial will be private. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
