Phillip T. Stoker, 40, of Grafton passed away Monday September 1, 2014 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake after suffering a apparent heart attack. He was born July 23, 1974 in Berea and was a Grafton resident for most of his life. Phil served as a Police Officer for the Village of Grafton for 18 years. He was a 1992 Midview High School graduate and member of both the Ohio Police Benevolent Association and the Fraternal Order of Police and enjoyed riding motorcycles. Survivors include his daughter, Marissa; sons, Cody and Nolan all of Lorain; mother, Nora 'Dottie" Everett of Grafton; sisters, Tabitha Aliff of Sheffield Village and Samantha Rowe of Grafton; 4 nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Carisle, step-father, Butch Stoker, grandmother, Dorothy Combs, and grandfather, Rufus Lindsey. The family will receive friends 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.
