Phillip Michael Rohal 27, of Eaton Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 31, 2025. He was born May 23, 1998 in Garfield Heights. Phillip worked with his father at Universal Joint Auto Wrecking. He loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and video gaming. Survivors include his parents; Phillip J. and Monica A. (nee: Alesci) Rohal of Eaton Township, a sister; Jessica G. Rohal of Eaton Township, two brothers; Jesse Rohal of Elyria and Marcus A. Kocik (Karly) of Aurora. Additional survivors include his paternal grandmother; Barbara Rohal (nee: Kepes) of Walton Hills, his maternal grandparents; Anthony and Katherine Alesci of Aurora. Phillip was preceded in death by his grandfather; Michael Rohal. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Thursday January 8, 2026 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)-322-4626 where funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday January 9, 2026. Reverend Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
