Pearl Marie Keiper (nee Zimmerman) 84 of Elyria , Ohio went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2015. She was born on December 23 , 1930 , she was 1 of 11 children born to the late Fred and Rose Zimmerman. Pearl was a loving mother and wife. She worked at Keystone local schools for over 28 years. She enjoyed canning , taking care of people and babysitting. Pearl was a hard worker and enjoyed her grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years , William Paul Keiper and son Michael Keiper , 9 brothers and sisters. Surviving are 2 daughters Robin (Tom) Strickland of Columbia, Tn. And Susan Keiper also of Columbia, Tn., 1 son William Keiper of Elyria , 4 grandchildren Danielle Keiper of Ohio , Corrie (Adam) Ingram of Tn. , Benjamin (Chelsea ) Strickland , and Jason Strickland of Tn. and 3 great-grandchildren, 1 sister Jeanette Teter. Family will receive friends 2-4 PM Sunday December 20, 2015 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57) Elyria 440-322-4626 , where services will be held 10 AM Monday. Pastor Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery (Elyria).
