Pauline M. Siegenthaler Herdle Pauline passed away on October 4, 2012, three weeks before her 103rd birthday while residing at Wesleyan Village in Elyria, Ohio. She was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on October 25, 1909. She was raised in Limaville, Ohio and graduated from Kent State University with a teaching degree. Pauline was a talented painter, mainly watercolors and in 2009 won an honorable mention award in a statewide competition for a beautiful rose painting. She enjoyed taking art classes at the Chicago Art Institute. She was a life member of the National Retired Teachers Association and Ohio Retired Teachers Association. She belonged to the Alliance Women's Club for twenty five years. Pauline enjoyed playing bridge, Chinese checkers, and a nightly game of Rummy with her sister. Survivors include a daughter; Bonnie Kerr (Larry), two grandchildren; Amy Kerr and Dana Kerr (Francesca), and three great grandchildren; Madalyn, Wyatt, and Mallory. Pauline is also survived by a sister; Annabelle Ward, a nephew; Douglas Ward (Katherine), two nieces; Susan Ward and Paula Frame, and other great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands; Robert E. Siegenthaler and Alvin J. Herdle, her parents; Edith Elder Trump, and George Elder, stepfather; James Trump, and twin brother; Paul Elder (Olive). Memorial services 4:00 PM Friday October 19, 2012 in the Chapel at Wesleyan Village 807 West Ave. Elyria, Ohio where Chaplain Beth McKee will officiate.
