Pauline Adams, (nee-Bougioukle), 89, of Elyria passed away Friday January 26, 2018 at the Kirtland Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was born May 2, 1928 in Vartholomio, Greece to Andreas and Constandina Bougioukle. She endured the trials and tribulations of a Depression, Axis occupation and civil war. Pauline was a homemaker and seamstress in Elyria and joined with her husband Paul Adams as a restauranteur of the former Terminal Restaurant and Golden Point Restaurant both of Elyria. She loved gardening and sewing. Survivors include her sons, Andrew Settas, John (Martha) and Harry (Patty) Adams; grandchildren, Kirstie (Demetrius), Paul (Jamie), Erica (Joshua) Smith, Kaitlyn (James), Christopher, Nicholas and Angela; great-grandchild, Kendall; her brother, John and sisters, Yianoula and Katerina all living in Greece along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to being preceded in death by her parents she was preceded by her husband Paul, son, Paul, brother, Kosti and sister, Dimetra. The family will receive friends Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria where Trisagion Services will be held at 6:30 p.m.. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday February 2, 2018 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 2000 Tower Bvld. Lorain. Rev. Fr. Michael Gulgas will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
