Paulette T. Grasse (nee: Bouman), 73, of  Grafton Township, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. She was born in Berea, Ohio on February 5, 1952 to parents Paul and Ann (nee: Hughes).

Paulette was a strong, independent woman who lived her life with love, determination, and grace. She worked hard as a dedicated employee of Chick Master Incubator Co. in Medina for many years, always providing for her family and raising three children on her own with unwavering strength and devotion. Paulette enjoyed the simple joys in life—bowling with friends, listening to live bands, and spending time outdoors tending to her flower beds. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her resilience, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.

Survivors include her children, Charles (Mindy) Grasse, Victoria (Pam) Grasse-Boehringer, Bryan (Diane) Grasse; sisters, Patricia (Douglas) Hudson, Catherine (Rodney) Graham, Margaret Bowes, Donna (Michael) Roman, Joanne (Jerry) Celebreeze; brother, James Bouman; grandchildren, Ashleigh Hobbs, Charles W. Grasse II, Ashley Watson, Brandon Watson, Madelynn Grasse; great grandchildren, Hudson Watson. Paulette is preceded in death by sisters, Rosemary Wagner, Mary Miller, Anne Gula, Jeanette Dempsey; brothers, Michael and Alan Bouman.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. A private burial will take place at a later date.
