Paula A. Wilson (nee: Auxer) 71, of Lorain passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 19, 2018 at Metro General Hospital in Cleveland. She was born April 22, 1946 in Elyria. Paula was a graduate of M.B. Johnson School of Nursing in Elyria, her nursing career spanned over fifty years. Paula was always a caregiver with much love to so many. She was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church in Elyria. Survivors include her husband of twenty three years; Barry L. Wilson, a daughter; Carri Kryzinski of Lorain. Additional survivors include a sister; Lynn Phillips of North Ridgeville, a brother; Richard Auxer (Diane) of Raleigh, NC., two nephews; Paul Auxer (Jill), Richard Auxer (Rae), a niece; Amy Kullik (Chip), three great nephews; Gabriel, Michael, Charlie. Paula was preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Irene (nee: Yoo) Auxer. Family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Tuesday January 23, 2018 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
